Clete Doyal, Senior Pastor, has been working at First Christian since 1980. Originally from Bakersfield, Clete and his wife Bonnie have three children. He received a B.A. in Religious Studies from the University of La Verne and a Masters in Church Leadership from Vanguard University. Clete enjoys spending time with his dog Calvin, taking his annual camping trip to Yosemite, and spending time with his granddaughters Mia and Sofia. Clete's Photo Gallery |

Collie Coburn, Director of Children’s Ministries, is our newest team member coming on in July of 2009. He earned a B.A. in Intercultural Studies from Hope International University, and a M.A. in Historical and Systematic Theology from Wheaton College. Brian Horn, Associate Pastor of Adult Ministries, moved with his wife Wren and son Braden from Austin, Texas in the summer of 2009 to join our team. He is currently working on his Doctorate of Ministry from Evangelical Theological Seminary of India and received his Masters in Biblical Studies from Dallas Theological Seminary. Kyle Davelaar, Associate Pastor of Worship and the Arts, moved from Los Angeles with his wife Shirley in August of 2007 to join our team. Kyle received his B.A. from the University of Illinois and a Masters of Arts in Theology from Fuller Theological Seminary. He was working on his Masters of Music at Cal State Fullerton when he felt God calling him to full time ministry. In his spare time Kyle enjoys surfing, bonfires, and reading. Kyle's Photo Gallery |

Colleen Durbin, Business Manager, has been working at First Christian since 1997. Colleen and her husband Bob have two kids and two grandchildren. She was born and raised in Nipomo and enjoys working in her garden and playing with her grandchildren in her spare time. |

Jackie Brigham, Secretary to our Senior Pastor Clete Doyal, has been working at First Christian since 1997. Jackie and her husband, Danny, have four children. A graduate of St. Joseph High school, she has been living in Santa Maria for nearly her entire life. She loves to spend time with family and friends by bowling and hosting game nights. |

Joni Shaffer, Staff Assistant, has been working off and on for First Christian since 1994 and has been a member of First Christian Church since 1969. Joni and her husband Garold have three children and one grandchild. A native of Santa Maria, Joni loves to read, go to the lake, and spend time with family and friends. |

Connie George, Bookkeeper, has been working at First Christian since December of 2008. Connie and husband Patrick have two children. She moved around many places as a child since her father was in the Air Force but has called Santa Maria home for the past 4 years. In her spare time Connie loves to go to the beach. |

Dan Cash, Director of Technical Ministries, has been a part of First Christian since 2000 and began volunteering in the AV ministries in 2003. In July of 2007 he put a hold on his studies in Computer Science at Cal Poly to join our team. Dan was raised in Arroyo Grande and now resides there with his wife Elaine. He enjoys cooking and going to concerts. |

Garrett Rice, Youth Intern, began attending First Christian in 2002 and started working in Student Ministries in 2008. A native of Santa Maria, Garrett enjoys hiking, backpacking, drinking coffee, and hanging out with his dog. |

Lillian Hutson, Children’s Department, has been working at First Christian since 2001. Lillian and her husband Philip are a great team, as Philip is very involved as a volunteer in the Children’s Ministry. In her free time she enjoys cooking and photography. |
