“Engaging the people of FCC with our community and with our world”
Our goal is community transformation—both ours (FCC) and theirs (our community and our world). We also want to provide the people of FCC with meaningful opportunities to live out their faith in our community and our world. But our end game goal is to glorify God by making His name known throughout the world.
"But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem (HERE) and in all Judea and Samaria (NEAR), and to the end of the earth (FAR).”
We are committed to engaging LOCAL ministries within the Santa Maria Valley. Our first ministry is to our neighbors and will do everything we can to reach them with the love of Jesus.
From Santa Maria, we wish to reach out and be a blessing to the United States as a whole. DOMESTIC missions within our country is a means by which we can reach America with the Gospel.
We are commanded to make Disciples "to the ends of the earth." FOREIGN missions is about reaching the lost across the globe, and we as a church have a special calling to minister to unreached people groups no matter where they live.
