HEAL OUR LAND

The first institution created was marriage. God made marriage and family the foundation from which every successful society is built upon. We can restore our land by restoring our families. We invite you to join us for this five-week series taught by Jimmy Evans and led by David and Michele Herrera. In this Small Group you will learn why unity is essential in your home and life. You can learn to understand the impact you will have on future generations and how to raise successful children in today’s society. We hope you’ll join us!

MEMBERSHIP CLASS

Sunday, October 11 |5:00pm | Patio

The New Testament teaches covenant community and a recognition of belonging to a community. People need membership commitment because they need to be connected to a Christian community. Membership doesn’t save us, but it enables us to grow and become spiritually mature in Christ by allowing us to belong to a community with like-minded believers. If you are interested in Church membership, please join the Pastors for a delicious meal and hear how God is working here at FCC. We will be social distancing and the meal will be individually packaged. If you plan on attending, please click the link to sign up or call the church office. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide childcare for this event.

“FINDING I AM” WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY

Tuesdays, Sept. 8–Nov. 24 | 9:30-11:30a | Worship Center

Ladies, come join us for Bible Study once again at the church. We are beginning a study by Lysa Terkeurst called “Finding I Am”. She takes us to the streets of Israel to explore the seven I AM statements of Jesus found in the Gospel of John. Unfortunately, because of COVID, we cannot offer childcare, so this is just for adult women. There will also be no food brought in, bottled water will be available. Masks and social distancing are required. Cost of the book is $15 and available for purchase at class. Come join us as we see how Jesus wants to meet us right where we are.

First Christian has continued to provide the meal on the 29th of each month through the shelter in place at the Good Samaritan Shelter. We do not serve it, we cook it and take it to them. If you would like to provide any of the food items necessary, please click below for this month’s meal. You may drop off your food off at the church anytime during office hours (Mon – Thurs, 9a – 5pm).  Thank you so much and God bless you!
