Encouragement Through Mentoring
FCC would like to help you grow in Christ. If you are interested, we would like to pair you with a mentor to help you grow in many different areas of your Christian walk. We all need encouragement and growth in our Christian walk. A mentoring relationship with others in the church helps us to deal with the many issues of life we face every day. Interested or more information, please email Bruce Henderson at bruceh@fccsantamaria.org

The New Testament teaches covenant community and a recognition of belonging to a community. People need membership commitment because they need to be connected to a Christian community. Membership doesn’t save us, but it enables us to grow and become spiritually mature in Christ by allowing us to belong to a community with like-minded believers. If you are interested in Church membership, please join the Pastors Sunday evening for a delicious meal and hear how God is working here at FCC. If you plan on attending, please sign up at the Welcome Table on Sundays or call the church office. Childcare available with signups through Sunday, February 17.
Parent Connect: How to help your teen choose Jesus for Life
February 20 | 6:30 – 8:00pm | Room B206
Parents of JH & HS students, you are invited to our February Parent Connect! We all want our students to choose Jesus for their life, but is there anything parents can do to help? How do parents help their teen choose Jesus when it feels like you have little to no influence in their life? Parents join us for a one-night seminar (called Parent Connect) to connect with other parents in the same season of life as you, be supported and encouraged as you do the hard work of parenting teens, pray, worship, and receive some hands-on things you can do TODAY to help your teenager choose Jesus for life. Invite a parent in the same season as you and join us. Free!
