ENCOURAGMENT THRU MENTORING AND DISCIPLESHIP
FCC would like to help you grow in Christ. If you are interested, we would like to pair you with a mentor to help you grow in many different areas of your Christian walk. We all need encouragement and growth in our Christian walk. A mentoring relationship with others in the church helps us to deal with the many issues of life we face every day. Community Partners In Caring
A non-profit outreach agency that helps to reduce the incidences of malnutrition, poor general health, and isolation among the elderly in our communities. Community Partners in Caring will have a table on the Plaza Sunday, March 24. They will be explaining the services they provide the elderly and ask people to volunteer to help ensure that seniors in our neighborhoods age in place with dignity.
SUNDAY MOTORCYCLE RIDE
SUNDAY, APRIL 7 I 1:30 – 5:30PM
All motorcycle riders, we want to invite you to join us  for a short ride up the coast. We will leave from the West church parking lot and proceed up the coast to Cayucos.  We will stop for some refreshments in Cayucos and than return to Santa Maria. We invite you to dust off the motorcycles and enjoy some sun, fellowship and food.   All variety of motorcycles are welcome. We encourage you to invite friends, significant others and passengers are welcome.
Elementary Camp
June 16-20 I Forest Home, Ojai Valley
This year, FCC Kids is bringing a group of about 24 elementary students to Forest Home, Ojai Valley! This program is open to children entering 3rd grade through 6th grade. The cost of the program this year is $295 per student with a $50 non-refundable deposit due at the time of registration. Registration opens April 1st. We will have a parent meeting on April 24th at 6pm, if you would like more information. We are also in need of counselors. If interested, please contact childrens@fccsantamaria.org (Discounts will be made available for the student of any parent who participates!) This is going to e a great time together! Your child(red) will not want to miss out!

SAN DIEGO 2019

Junior High students – don’t miss the best week of the summer as we head to San Diego to serve! Our work with elderly, hungry, and other materially poor is the work that Jesus calls us to when He calls us to serve the least, last, and lowest. This work matters! We’ll head south to see this incredible yet broken city through the eyes of Christ. The work will be hard, but you can bet it will be worth it! You’ll never be the same after this week. Financial Peace University for Adults
Sundays, Starting Feb 17 I 10:15am | Rm B202
See how you can take control of your finances instead of your finances controlling you. This nine-week video series is taught by financial expert Dave Ramsey and incorporates small group discussions that helps encourage accountability and discipleship. On average, those who have completed the video series pay off $5,300 in debt and save $2,700 in only the first 90 days! One membership per family is all you need to get started in this Small Group. The cost for membership per household is $129.00. Scholarships to attend the Small Group are available. Register or contact Pastor Don at the Church office for more info.
Financial Peace for Teens
Sundays, Starting Feb 10 I 9:00am I Rm B203
FCC will be offering Financial Peace University for Junior High & High School students during the 9:00 service beginning February 10 and lasting for 9 weeks. This course is similar to the adult FPU, but geared specifically for teens. Curriculum includes basic financial literacy, how to stay out of debt, and generosity and giving. Cost is $30 per teen.
THE HEART OF ADDICTION
MONDAYS, MARCH 18 – JUNE 10 I 6:30PM I RM B202
Finally Free. Hope and help for those struggling with all forms of sinful habits and addictions including overeating, excessive shopping, pornography, gambling, drugs, sex, and alcohol. This in-depth study uses biblical principles to transform your life and free you from your addictions as we follow The Heart of Addiction by Mark Shaw. The cost for materials is $20.
