Engaging the people of First Christian Church with our community and with our world” We define this engagement as “bringing together God’s supply and human need”. Our primary goal is community transformation—both ours (FCC) and theirs (our community and our world).We also want to provide the people of FCC with meaningful opportunities to live out their faith in our church, our community and our world.

Our mission: We want to “turn lost students into Christ-centered laborers.”

The vision: To be “a transformational community of multiplying disciples who live out the Great Commandment (Matthew 22:37) and the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20) throughout UCSB, Isla Vista and the world!”

Our goal: Give every student at UCSB and in Isla Vista an opportunity to hear and respond to the gospel.

ENGAGE

What can you do to engage with CCC at UCSB?

  • Attend a weekly meeting and see what the Lord is doing in the lives of students at UCSB.
  • Visit large scale outreaches

We recently did an outreach to serve and bless Isla Vista while creating opportunities to share the gospel as well. We called it Jesus Loves I.V.. You can get more info about this at www.jesuslovesiv.com. But we would love for people from the church to come down for a day and participate in outreaches like this as well as come and share their faith on campus with our students.
