Engaging the people of First Christian Church with our community and with our world” We define this engagement as “bringing together God’s supply and human need”. Our primary goal is community transformation—both ours (FCC) and theirs (our community and our world).We also want to provide the people of FCC with meaningful opportunities to live out their faith in our church, our community and our world.

The purpose of Serve Santa Maria is to bless our community by completing various service projects around the city as determined and coordinated by the City of Santa Maria, the Parks and Recreation Department and the Serve Santa Maria Leadership Team.

"Seek the peace and prosperity of the city to which I have carried you.
Pray to the LORD for it, because if it prospers, you too will prosper.”

On April 14th, 2012 about 30 people from FCC participated in Serve Santa Maria:
