The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian Church. Its message is based on the Bible. Its ministry is motivated by love for God. Its mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ, and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination. In each community where it is located, The Salvation Army identifies unmet needs and unused strengths. It works with other organizations and services to meet needs, especially for those marginalized by society, and develop opportunities for people who live in that community. Staff members of The Salvation Army strive to uphold the highest standards in service delivery.
